WanYeen Group of Companies Participates in the 2026 Li Shizhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Festival
On 26 May 2026, the 2026 Li Shizhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Festival was held in Qichun, Hubei, to commemorate the 508th anniversary of Li Shizhen’s birth!
Academicians, experts, government representatives and industry leaders gathered to discuss the preservation, innovation and international promotion of traditional Chinese medicine.
Malaysia WanYeen Group of Companies was honoured to participate in the event and officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bencao Gangmu Pharmaceutical Group. This marked an important step in strengthening cooperation with China’s traditional Chinese medicine industry and bringing quality TCM products to Malaysia and global markets.

Discussing “Modern Herbal Culture” and Exploring New Ways to Engage Younger Generations
Mr. Teh Choon Wai, Chairman of WanYeen Group of Companies, was invited to join the dialogue session, “Modern Herbal Culture in the New Media Era”.
Together with TCM experts, cultural professionals and new media creators, he discussed how short videos, comics and film content can make traditional herbal knowledge more engaging and accessible to younger audiences.
Appointed as a Qichun Mugwort Public Welfare Ambassador
To promote Qichun mugwort culture and support public awareness of traditional Chinese medicine, the forum held an official certificate presentation ceremony for the appointment of Qichun Mugwort Public Welfare Ambassadors.
During the event, Mr. Teh Choon Wai was appointed as a “Qichun Mugwort Public Welfare Ambassador” in recognition of his contributions to the international promotion of Qichun mugwort culture and TCM cooperation.
