TCM practitioner Choon Wai, who co-founded the Group’s 4 constituent companies with COO Choon Soon and CFO Joevy, earned his professional qualifications in TCM and acupuncture in 2004. He has amassed 21 years of experience manufacturing traditional Chinese medications and herbal health supplements; within that timeframe, he contributed to the development of more than 300 TCM products.

Andy Goh was the co-founder of the renowned Malaysia home brand “Old Town White Coffee”. From research and development, production, distribution, to establishing a successful franchising model, eventually become a listed company, this visionary entrepreneur has become a legendary figure in the local business and entrepreneurship scene. Together with Wan Yeen Group, they share a common vision of promoting traditional Chinese herbal health culture to every corner of the world.

Choon Soon trained as an engineer and formerly held the position of Director of Operations and Engineering at a well-known publicly listed company. Having served the Group for the last 19 years, he has witnessed both our triumphs and our struggles over this decades-long journey. He is responsible for supervising operations at our production facilities to ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards.

Datin Seri Joevy Ewe

Doing the right thing at the right time is the key to success.

Joevy held senior management roles at several banks for 10 years prior to joining the Group as our CFO. She draws on her considerable experience and expertise in finance to plan our budgets, manage our expenses, and devise strategies for improving our financial performance.

Prof. Dr. Teoh Boon Khai

A true remedy lies not only in medicine, but also in responsibility and foresight.

Prof. Teoh graduated from Taiwan China Medical University with a Bachelor of Medicine in Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, later earning a Doctor of Physiology and Medicine from St. Paul University and a Doctor of Traditional Medicine from Southwestern University. He currently serves as Chief Medical Director of Malaysia Tai Hospital’s Integrated TCM Clinic, Dean of the World University of Natural Medicine (Penang, Malaysia), Chief Medical Engineer of Shanghai HyACT, Executive Committee Member of the 10th World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), and Consultant to China Medical University (Taiwan) in Malaysia.

With extensive clinical and research experience, Prof. Teoh previously held the position of Chief Physician of the Herbal Oncology Department at Sultan Ismail Government Hospital (Johor Bahru), and consultant for integrative hospital construction projects. He has represented WFAS at the WHO’s Western Pacific Regional meetings and served as a think tank member of the Prime Minister’s Office SAME Economic Development Center in Malaysia. His expertise spans integrative oncology, innovative acupuncture-bloodletting therapy (“Shuni”), orthopedic surgical device development, and hospital structural design. He has also contributed to multiple patents in Western medical device innovation and was awarded the Asia-Pacific Excellence in Compassionate Medicine Gold Award.

Since his appointment as Medical Director of Wan Yeen, Prof. Teoh has led a professional team in merging Eastern and Western medical philosophies to develop innovative herbal and health products, advancing the globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Lion Tan Say Cheong

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator

Only with sunlight, quality water, and healthy nourishment can we cultivate a thriving life and society.

Mr. Tan Say Cheong, the current District Governor of Lions Clubs International, has been deeply engaged in public service and community development for decades, with extensive leadership and management experience. Since 1993, he has been a core member of the Scouts Association of Malaysia, where he now serves as a Certified King Scout Standardizer and Assistant District Commissioner. He is also a proud recipient of the prestigious WoodBadge Holder recognition from the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

In the corporate arena, Mr. Tan was formerly a shareholder and R&D leader in a renowned public-listed company. Today, he contributes his expertise to the coffee industry and the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) supplements sector. Beyond business, he remains active in social organizations, serving as Vice Chairman of Perak Coffee Shops Association, Vice General Affairs of Poi Lam Old School Students Association, and Director of Poi Lam Secondary School.

As CSR Coordinator of Wan Yeen, Mr. Tan leverages his cross-disciplinary experience in education, public service, and corporate management to guide the company in strengthening its social responsibility, advancing community care, and promoting the integration of traditional medicine with social good.
